What are the characteristics of low-voltage power supply systems?

In the previous text, Weikewei Technology introducedThe Development Trend of Power Distribution Systemas well asWiring method of power distribution systemToday, let's take a look at the characteristics of low-voltage distribution systems?

(1) The form of charged conductor: The so-called charged conductor refers to the phase line and neutral line (including PEN line but not PE line) that normally pass through the working current. It is advisable to choose single-phase two wire, two-phase three wire, three-phase three wire, or three-phase four wire.

(2) The form of system grounding: The so-called distribution system grounding refers to the grounding relationship between the power supply point and the exposed conductive parts of the load side electrical devices (referring to the combination of all electrical equipment on the load side and the interconnected lines between them) (referring to the metal shell of electrical equipment, the metal support sleeve of the line, and the metal armor of the cable, etc.).

低压配电系统的区别

The low-voltage power supply system consists of low-voltage distribution cabinets and low-voltage transmission cables in the main distribution room; Each user's incoming main distribution cabinet, distribution box, electrical equipment, etc. Low voltage distribution lines are used to transmit and distribute electrical energy to low-voltage electrical equipment. They have the characteristics of multiple joints, multiple specifications and models, multiple laying methods, long lines, and multiple operation times of control switches in each distribution box.

Each electrical device has diversity, such as production machinery, electric heating, electrolytic plating, welding, experimental equipment, lighting, etc. These electrical devices have different electrical characteristics. According to the type of current, it can be divided into AC and DC electrical equipment; Electrical equipment can be classified into low voltage and safe voltage based on voltage; According to the working system of electrical equipment, it can be divided into continuous operation, short-term operation, and repeated short-term operation. Due to the above characteristics of low-voltage power supply systems, short circuits, leakage, and other phenomena often occur in circuits, switches, etc., which can cause major accidents such as fires and personal electric shocks, causing huge losses to enterprises and individuals.

Grounding form of low-voltage system:

Low voltage system grounding can be achieved through TN system, TT system, and IT system. At present, the low-voltage system grounding in factories usually adopts TN system, which means that one point of the system is directly grounded, and the exposed wire part of the device is connected to that point with a protective wire. According to the combination of neutral and protective wires, there are three forms of TN system:

1. TN-S system. The neutral line and protective line of the entire system are separated. Its characteristics are high reliability of grounding protection and high engineering cost.

2. TN-C-S system. Some neutral wires and protective wires in the system are integrated.

3. TN-C system. The neutral and protective wires of the entire system are integrated. Its characteristics are poor grounding reliability and low engineering cost.

The above are the characteristics of low-voltage distribution systems. If you have any needs or a better introduction to the distribution system, you can contact Weikewei Technology.
