What are the wiring methods for power distribution systems?

The wiring methods of the power distribution system mainly includeRadial, Trunk, and CircularWaiting for the basic power distribution system. Today, Weikewei Technology will explain the differences between three types of power distribution systems.

(1) Radial distribution system can be divided into single power single circuit radial distribution system and dual power dual circuit radial distribution system. The main advantages of a single power supply and single circuit radial distribution system are that the power supply lines are independent, the possibility of misoperation during switching is small, line faults do not affect each other, automation is easy to achieve, there are fewer power outages, relay protection is simple and easy to set, and the protection action time is short; The disadvantage is that there are more power output circuits, more equipment, and higher investment.

The dual power dual circuit radial distribution system has a long total line length, multiple power output circuits, and the use of switch equipment due to each user using dual circuit power supply, resulting in high investment; If the load is not large, it will cause waste of non-ferrous metals. The advantage is that when dual circuits work simultaneously, it can reduce power loss on the line. This type of wiring is suitable for heavy or independent important users. For users with large capacity and special importance, segmented wiring with busbar circuit breakers can be used to achieve automatic switching, improve the reliability of the power supply system, and meet the requirements of primary electrical loads.

(2) Tree trunk distribution system has a relatively short total length of power lines, which can reduce the consumption of non-ferrous metals in most cases and requires less investment. However, due to the large number of support points, the power outage area during maintenance and accidents is large, and the reliability is poor; And its adaptability in achieving automation is also poor, only applicable to second and third level load units. To improve the reliability of power supply, a dual line power supply or a two terminal power supply wiring method can be used.

(3) The circular distribution system is essentially a trunk type wiring that supplies power at both ends. If the end isolation switch is open, it is in open-loop mode; if it is not open, it is in closed-loop mode. Most of them adopt open-loop operation mode, which is characterized by flexible operation and reliable power supply. In the event of an accident, they can quickly restore power supply by performing a "switching operation" to exit the faulty section. When operating in a closed-loop mode, in the event of a fault, it is easy to cause the two power supply terminals to trip and the entire system to lose power, so it is not commonly used. The circular distribution system has high wire consumption, long lines during faults, and large voltage drops (especially near the power source). Therefore, when selecting, it is necessary to calculate whether the voltage drop can meet the requirements.

The above are the three wiring methods for power distribution systems summarized by Weike Technology. If you have a better understanding of the wiring methods for power distribution systems, you can discuss them with Weike Technology.
