SSPC Solid State Power Controller-Solid State Power Distribution Module

This SSPC module is mainly used for the positive power distribution of ground vehicles and ground equipment DC systems, with a load switching capability of two sets of 4-channel inputs with a rated current of 40A and an impulse current of 200A. SSPC is remotely controlled through the CAN bus and can connect or disconnect loads. It has overcurrent protection and short-circuit protection functions, and the overcurrent protection time can be set through the CAN bus. In addition, the CAN bus can obtain load status information, ensuring that the product has rich BIT capabilities.

SSPC is remotely controlled through the CAN bus and can connect or disconnect loads. It has overcurrent protection and short-circuit protection functions, and the overcurrent protection time can be set through the CAN bus. In addition, the CAN bus can obtain load status information, ensuring that the product has rich BIT capabilities. Through the upper computer software, SSPC can freely set the overcurrent protection reference current within its (20%~100%) specification current range to meet the distribution needs of different working current devices.

It can achieve the following functions:

1) Load control: It can control the on or off of various solid distribution switches according to demand to achieve the distribution of corresponding loads.

2) Bus function: Equipped with CAN2.0B standard bus and functions, it is used to issue control commands and report status information.

3) Overcurrent protection function: The protection time meets the I2t inverse time characteristic requirements.

4) Short circuit protection function: When a short circuit occurs in the load, the power supply to the load can be automatically cut off and a short circuit protection sign can be set. The short circuit indicator will be cleared after executing the control command again.


This SSPC uses solid-state switches for on/off control of DC power supply, uses photoelectric, electromagnetic and other means to achieve isolation between strong and weak electricity, and uses microcontrollers to achieve intelligent control and BIT function of distribution switches.

SSPC consists of a main control module and a power module. The system schematic diagram is shown in Figure 1, where the power module contains 8 identical power units. Only the schematic diagram of one unit is shown in Figure 1. The internal connection topology of the 8-channel power switch is shown in Figure 2.

SSPC follows the industrial standard brick structure design, with the core components of the product installed inside the shell and fixed through fasteners and welding processes, while ensuring the functionality of the product and meeting environmental adaptability requirements.


The appearance of SSPC is strictly designed according to the industrial standard brick shape and board area, with slight adjustments to the height dimensions. The length and width are 116.8mm × 61.0mm, and the height does not exceed 50mm.
