In order to power an electronic magnet with sufficient strength, it requires at least 800mA of current. The resistance of the internal electromagnet is approximately 5 ohms at 15 ℃. A 5V power supply with a capacity of at least 5 watts will be sufficient to provide power for the analog circuit breaker to trip. However, please remember that the resistance of the internal coil of the electromagnet increases with temperature. Due to the low resistance of the electromagnet, please pay attention to the resistance of the connecting wires/cables. If necessary, please increase the power supply voltage.

Vicorv High-Reliability Electronic Components

Due to the high power consumption of the circuit breaker, a driving circuit is required to supply power to the electromagnet during actual use, rather than directly connecting it to the IO port of the MCU. Based on the TTL voltage, IO output capability, and MCU programming method of the MCU, you can use MOSFETs, transistors, or a combination of both as drivers for the electromagnet.
