Two space military missions originally scheduled to be launched by Falcon Heavy rockets in 2021 have been postponed to 2022. Recently, the Space Force has added a Falcon Heavy launch mission codenamed USSF-67 in 2022. In addition to two government and commercial launch missions, the Falcon Heavy rocket is planned to launch five times in 2022.

The USSF-67 mission is a classified mission launched into GEO orbit. Last year, we signed a launch contract with SpaceX with a total value of $332 million, and the launch is scheduled for the second half of 2022. In this launch, the core stage of Falcon Heavy will not be recovered, only two bundled first stage rockets will be recovered.

The other two government and commercial missions of Falcon Heavy are the launch of the Viasat-3 commercial communication satellite and NASA's Psyche planetary exploration mission.

The USFF-44 mission will be the first time that the Falcon Heavy rocket will directly project military payloads into GEO orbit (non GTO) for the Space Force. In this launch, SpaceX will also challenge two sea barges to simultaneously recover a first stage rocket for the first time. At present, the only known payload for this mission is the TETRA-1 satellite, a small satellite developed by Millennium Corporation.

The payload of USSF-52 mission and USSF-67 mission is unknown.

The last Falcon Heavy launch dates back to June 2019, when SpaceX conducted the STP-2 technology demonstration and validation mission for the US Air Force, launching over 20 small satellites.
